Pink salt is sold into several channels, including food ingredients, retail seasoning, food-service packs, bath products and decorative items. A food importer and a home-goods wholesaler do not evaluate the same product information. Exporters should organize their offer by product form and intended buyer.

Separate food and non-food products

List edible salt, grinders or retail packs separately from bath, decorative or other non-food products. For each item, state the form, size or grind, pack weight, packaging material, available label options and minimum order. For food products, use specifications and quality documents that relate to the actual product and facility. Confirm the buyer’s destination and intended use before making any compliance or labeling claim.

Show photographs of the product and packaging. Clarify whether the image represents a standard item, a private label sample or a custom design. If the buyer requests a sample, identify the lot or product version and explain the courier and sample charges.

Quote by product and order program

MOQ can differ between bulk sacks, retail packs, grinders and customized packaging. Explain what drives the minimum: product form, pack size, artwork, color or production run. A complete quotation states product details, quantity, packaging, currency, validity date, lead time and delivery term.

Ask the prospect about the sales channel, target consumer or industrial use, expected order frequency, destination and labeling requirements. This helps determine whether the offer fits a food importer, supermarket supplier, seasoning brand, hospitality distributor or gift retailer.

Make repeat supply credible

State realistic availability and production capacity. Explain how product and packaging specifications are approved, how changes are recorded and how repeat orders are planned. If several producers or processors contribute to supply, describe who controls the specification and shipment preparation.

Approach the right wholesale accounts

Research food ingredient distributors, seasoning companies, ethnic grocery importers, private label brands and non-food wholesalers according to your product range. Introduce one relevant product group with a concise specification and a clear next step, such as reviewing a sample or requesting a quote.
