Industrial ventilation is specified around the operating conditions of a facility. A procurement team or engineering contractor needs to compare airflow, pressure, installation constraints, materials and support. A product page that lists only motor power or fan diameter may not be enough to determine fit.
Organize products around operating duty
Group models by type and application, such as axial or centrifugal equipment, roof or wall installation, process ventilation or general air movement, where these reflect your actual range. Provide model codes, dimensions, materials, drive arrangement and available options. Show technical drawings and clear photographs for representative units.
Where you have verified performance data, provide the relevant curves or tables and state the test basis. Make the operating conditions and limits visible. Do not extrapolate performance or promise suitability for a hazardous, corrosive or high-temperature environment without engineering confirmation.
Collect project details before quoting
Ask for required airflow and pressure, air temperature, dust or moisture conditions, installation type, power supply, control requirements, noise constraints and destination. Confirm whether the buyer needs equipment only or a broader package involving controls, ducting, installation or commissioning. The quotation should identify assumptions and exclusions.
Share realistic production lead time, available capacity, packing method, warranty terms and the documentation included with shipment. Buyers may ask for drawings, operation manuals, inspection records or product-specific certifications. Confirm the requested scope before committing to provide them.
Support selection through delivery
Explain how technical questions are reviewed and who can approve a selection. If site data is incomplete, label preliminary sizing as provisional. For project orders, agree on drawing approval, inspection points, packing, delivery sequence and any spare parts before production begins.
Target the right procurement channel
Relevant prospects can include industrial equipment distributors, mechanical contractors, plant operators, EPC firms and OEMs that integrate ventilation into larger systems. Match outreach to the project type and the equipment you manufacture. Keep a concise capability sheet ready rather than sending unrelated catalogs.
